Structural Certification of Reclaimed Steel

Many clients perceive it as a risk to use a reclaimed product in a structural function. BioRegional Reclaimed recognise that we need to take this risk away from the buyer.

Ellis & Moore Consulting Engineers, our partners for six years, have developed a system of visual inspection to check structural integrity of steel sections. They are also able to offer advice on design detailing and contract specification clauses for dealing with reclaimed steel.

All reclaimed steel can be purchased with a structural performance warranty from Ellis & Moore.
