Description of project,
services and products supplied |
The Earth Centre was
designed as a sustainable education and leisure facility devoted to
bringing the environment and issues relating to it to public attention.
The entrance building and conference facilities were designed by Bill
Dunster Architects who made extensive use of reclaimed materials including
structural steel, floorboards, radiators and crushed concrete gabions.
Overall, the project
achieved some 80% reclaimed and recycled content.
BioRegional Reclaimed
supplied structural steel, floorboards and crushed concrete gabions
for this internationally acclaimed project.
The Earth Centre has
reverted to local authority ownership and is closed. You can find
